Balanced By A Hair of Buddha 1931
BALANCED BY A HAIR OF BUDDHA
This pagoda at Kyaitteyo, Burma, the only one of it's kind in the world, is balanced by a hair of Buddha, according to the natives. Tradition says the venerable hair is visible at certain times of the year.
From the Minneapolis Journal. Sunday, February 15, 1931
Note: It is now know as "Golden Rock", but as you can see, it had not yet been painted gold!
